For more than 35 years, Desarrollo y Autogestión (DYA) has strengthened public policies and expanded opportunities for those most at risk in Ecuador, Peru, and Argentina. Internationally recognized for technical expertise and local trust, DYA partners with communities, governments, and the private sector to improve lives and protect human rights.

What Your Support Makes Possible

• Education: Over 29,000 children and adolescents gained access to education in 2024, including migrant students reintegrated into schools and youth supported through vocational training.
• Health: In Ecuador, 91% of children in high-risk communities are now free from chronic malnutrition; more than 11,000 people in Peru accessed essential health services.
• Youth and Families: More than 2,300 adolescents in Peru completed employability and technical training; 5 community childcare homes in Ecuador now provide safe spaces for children under five.
• Protection: In Peru alone, 8,800 migrants accessed protection services, while in Argentina, targeted interventions removed blueberries from the U.S. list of products linked to child labor.
