Ocote is a Guatemala-based social innovation agency that partnered with communities, civil society organizations, and public institutions to address complex social challenges across Latin America. Its work focused on citizen participation, institutional strengthening, and the co-creation of sustainable solutions, always grounded in collaboration and local knowledge.
Lasting social change does not happen top-down. Ocote’s experience showed that when communities are co-authors of solutions, outcomes are more resilient, equitable, and scalable. Philanthropic support made it possible to deepen this work, reach new territories, and strengthen local leadership.
Donations to Ocote are made through The Resource Foundation, ensuring tax-deductible giving in the U.S. and responsible stewardship of funds to support high-impact social initiatives in Latin America.
