Gian Paolo Einaudi, Director of Social Investments, joined The Resource Foundation in May of 2013. To complement TRF’s tradition of connecting U.S.-based corporations, foundations and individuals with nonprofits in Latin America and the Caribbean, he liaises with individuals and institutions interested in creating lasting impact throughout Latin America through innovative social solutions.
Prior to joining the Foundation, Gian Paolo lived and worked in Central America for 14 years. Initially with Peace Corps, he served as a youth development advisor, volunteer coordinator and master trainer. Later, he joined Medical Mission International, where he forged partnerships with public, private, and citizen-sector organizations from diverse social, political and religious backgrounds to establish a major medical facility serving El Salvador’s rural communities. Later, he served as consultant to companies for the design and development of internal and external Corporate Social Responsibility strategies.
Gian Paolo has completed Aspen Network of Development Entrepreneur’s (ANDE) Investment Manager Training and Stanford’s Executive Program for Social Entrepreneurship, has an MBA from INCAE (founded by Harvard in Central America) and a BA in Social Anthropology from Haverford College. He speaks fluent English, Spanish and Italian.
