TRF Announces the Establishment of the Bill and Frances Hockman Evergreen Fund

Over the last two months, two of The Resource Foundation’s closest supporters and friends, Bill and Frances Hockman, passed away. Bill and Frances had been involved with The Resource Foundation since 1994, providing counsel and advice in their own unique ways. In fact, in 1994, Bill joined TRF’s Board, serving as Chairman from 1996 to 1998 and as a member of the Executive Committee throughtout his entire tenure. Importantly, he played a key role in developing The Resource Foundation into the institution that it is today.

In recognition of their unwavering commitment to the mission of The Resource Foundation and lasting contributions to the organization as it is today, TRF's Board of Directors has approved the establishment of the Bill and Frances Hockman Evergreen Fund. Originally created in 2003 with the strong support of Bill Hockman in order to ensure the continued growth and sustainability of the Foundation, the board’s decision to re-name the fund will serve as a testament to the Hockmans’ lasting contribution to the Foundation.
