Remembering Alain Concher and Bill Hockman
The Resource Foundation mourns the passings of Alain Concher and Bill Hockman, both of whom were founding members of its Board of Directors and important pillars of the organization.

Alain joined The Resource Foundation’s board in 1993 and served on the Executive Committee throughout his tenure. In addition, he served two terms as Treasurer, providing guidance that contributed to The Resource Foundation gaining Charity Navigator’s highest rating of 4-Stars over four consecutive years from 2008 to the present. Alain’s sage input and contribution over the years leave a fitting legacy, which will continue to guide The Resource Foundation’s work and the way it operates going forward. His generous spirit will be deeply missed.

Bill leaves an incredibly large void and will be missed not only by his family, but by a large number of friends and, of course, The Resource Foundation.  Bill became a Board Member in 1994, was Chairman during 1996-98, and served on the Executive Committee for his entire tenure on the Board. Importantly, he played a key role in developing The Resource Foundation into the institution that it is today.  He shall be sorely missed.

Additionally, The Resource Foundation’s Board has confirmed the establishment of the Bill and  Frances Evergreen Fund to support The Resource Foundation in honor of Bill and Frances.
